And metering for the highlights means to protect them over the shadows and letting the he shadows go where they might. Giving the sensor as much light as possible is metering for the shadows. You still have to protect your highlights with digital though.

Do you thin it would be possible to use a y-splitter on the lanc cable to connet a focus motor to the grip (like the chroziel) and also have it connected to the C70?

Using the Canon EOS C70 and Ronin RS2. At DJI, they show this pair isn’t compatible. I was able to use the record button on the gimbal. Did an update on the camera, now unable to record from gimbal. I use a BMPC4K on the Rs2 for weddings. It gets pretty tiresome throughout the day. Does this setup tire you out also?
